When The Term Khawārij Should Be Applied | Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān

The Questioner: The questioner says, O noble Shaykh, may Allāh grant you success, is the term Khawārij only applied to the one who revolts against the Muslim leader or the one who combines all of the corrupt principles together like the rejection of the intercession (shafāʿah) and assigning disbelief due to major sins and revolting against the Muslim leader? So what do we say about the one who holds only some of their beliefs?

Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān: “The one who believes in some of their beliefs is just like them. And if a person holds all of their beliefs then this is even more severe. Yes.”
